It almost didn't happen. It really didn't. No no no. Harvey very nearly did not make the Twickenham Goes Green Festival this past Saturday and Sunday 15/16th June. There was a gnat's willy's chance of it happening; I was was utterly convinced. BUT it came good in the end with DVLA registration documents landing through the letter box very last minute -notwithstanding a week long episode of daily phone calls to odd bods in their call centre where I was charmed (not) with exceptionally non committal responses about the state of progress with Harvey's papers. This little issue sorted I could then make arrangement to have Harv transported from the coach builders in Devon to West London. Easy. Well actually…no! In the end he flippin' didn't get to London until 4.00pm Friday. That's Friday before the Saturday we were due start just in case of any confusion reader OK. So all very very lastminutedotcom indeed. A roller coaster week of lastminutedotcomness in fact. BUT…this little problem also came together on a wing and lots of prayer - and as you can see from the images - the end result is fabulous. And the people of Twickers loved the juices (relief….) and there was a pretty constant buzz around the Truck for the best part of both days. So all in all a super start for Krunch+Press but of course with plenty of operational niggles to iron out. But that, as they say, is all part of the fun. Next Saturday (21st June) Harvey's back in Twickenham for the Dragon Boat Racing and once again will be serving up scrummy juices for the good folk of this charming part of West London.
